A large manufacturing company was running on a monolithic ERP system that had become a bottleneck for growth. The system was difficult to maintain, expensive to operate, and couldn't scale to meet increasing demand. They needed to modernize their infrastructure while ensuring zero downtime during the transition.
The legacy ERP system was mission-critical, handling everything from inventory management to financial reporting. Any disruption would cost millions. The migration needed to be seamless, with the new system offering better performance, scalability, and lower operational costs. Additionally, the team needed to learn new technologies and processes.
Designed a microservices architecture breaking the monolith into independent, scalable services.
Implemented containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes for automated scaling and management.
Built comprehensive CI/CD pipelines enabling rapid, reliable deployments with automated testing.
Migrated data gradually using a strangler fig pattern, ensuring zero downtime throughout the transition.
Established automated scaling and trained the internal team on cloud-native technologies.
System uptime achieved
Reduction in operational costs
Faster deployment cycles
Improvement in response time
The migration to microservices was the best technical decision we've made in years. Softvisibility's expertise ensured a smooth transition with zero downtime. Our system is now faster, more reliable, and costs significantly less to operate.
